Donald Trump just got another $1.8 billion worth of Trump Media stock

Former President Donald Trump has received $1.8 billion worth of stock in the corporate owner of Truth Social. Trump Media & Technology Group stated in a filing that Trump now holds 36 million shares in the company, which were triggered by certain performance criteria being met. These new shares are valued at approximately $1.8 billion. Trump’s stake in Trump Media now amounts to 114.75 million shares, or 64.9% of the total outstanding. The earnout shares are subject to lock-up restrictions. Despite the volatility of the share price, it never reached levels that would jeopardize this bonus.
